Sewing maintainance

we know we have to keep an eye on the oil in out car to maintain it. same goes with your sewing machine, check out that manual and find out what you need to do for yours to keep it ticking over. start a routine of doing the maintenance at the start or finish of your sewing time (I do it at the end along with cleaning up). do use a qualified technician to service your precious machine and never, never blow into the bobbin area to remove dust. use a paint brush if your sewing machine brush can’t don the job. remember rust never sleeps and it starts with a bit of blown spit! and when you sewing session its over, cover your precious machine up with a cover or a cloth to keep dust from settling into those naughty mechanical places. don’t let the fluff win!
