Tailor Hams

Tailor Hams, what are they?

A tightly stuffed shape used when pressing curved areas of clothing, such as darts, sleeves, cuffs, collars, or waistlines.

I purchased a basic ham (looks like ham shape) great for shaping and pressing at the same time, super stuff tight, perfect for pressing on necklines, shoulders and curved seams.

I made a thinner one for little leg and sleeve seams with a solid card tube and cotton tea towel, does the trick, priceless!

Love the handmade hams in photo from stitchnerdcustomshop.com. I would happily over press using these !!
